Together with Schuler-Hydrap and Copren, Lucas has developed a complete line for the production of the steel body used in gas cylinders for one of the leaders in the sector, an important American company.
The entire line is fully-automated and does not require the presence of an operator thanks to the complete control of all operations ensured by the use of numerous PLCs linked in constant dialogue.
The scrap ejection  (in two halves) is controlled by PLC, a  robot loads and unloads the pieces, and conveyor belts move both the finished product and the scrap.
The output of the line is 10 complete bottle bodies per minute
The line is proposed as indispensable for the completion of operations after drawing, and can be equipped to perform a wide range of machining.
