The double head flanging machine model 3 / 2000 is the ideal apparatus to flange circular tubes of different lengths.
This machine is especially designed to automatically flange outwards and then turn the flanged band on sheet tubes up to 2 meters long. Both sides of the tube can be worked contemporaneously.
The machine can equipped also for other operations than flanging (beading, ribbing or curling).
The optional electrical working unit for turning and deburring of the flange ensures a perfect finish of the duct.       The main strong points of LUCAS flanging machines are:

• long tool life due to a sturdy construction of the working units with a particular attention to the sliding both for “hydraulic” or “electronic” control of stroke by “brushless” motor and guiding by recirculating balls screws

• Working units: with hydraulic or electronic control of the stroke by "brushless" motor
• Spindle: driven by electric motor with gear motor reduction and inverter (no. 2 spindles);
• Piece clamping: The piece is clamped directly on the spindle through an expansion equipment which is provided with interchangeable sectors that can be easily manufactured.
• Electrical panel: complete with PLC and “touch screen” service panel for work sequence management.
• Safety devices: two-handed control button on swivelling console, safety guards at the sides and at the rear of the machine
• The machine can be programmed to work two “small” tubes contemporaneously
• For very high productivity, the 3 / 2000 can be supplied with automatic loading / unloading device or prepared for a system of loading / unloading provided by the customer.
